Real Bride Sabrina's Maui Matrimony

Sabrina and Cavan Havlik’s Hawaiian wedding was nothing short of mesmerizing. From their gorgeous ocean backdrop and complementary peachy color palette, to their intimate venue full of their loved ones, the Havliks’ picture-perfect ceremony will have you swooning with the amount of beachfront wedding inspiration in every detail.

Sabrina fell for Cavan when they met in Australia in the spring of 2016. Even though they had both lived in Vail for years, the two of them had never met until an incredibly coincidental trip on the other side of the globe, where they both just happened to be in the same place, at the same time. After returning to Colorado, the two started spending more time together, learning more and more about one another and their many shared, adventurous interests. Eventually, Cavan proposed in May 2021, on a beautiful cliff that they can see from afar from their home in Minturn, Colorado!

The Havliks tied the knot at Hana Maui Resort in Hawaii, centering their decor around the color terra rosa, a gorgeous shade of coral that seamlessly tied their tropical getaway together. Sabrina’s florist sister hand-curated all of the ceremony’s bouquets and adornments, selecting Proteas as their central blooms. Sabrina’s favorite moment from her wedding day was their first look, during which the couple shared their private vows away from their guests. “It was a wonderful time for just the two of us to connect before the ceremony,” she shares.

Sabrina wore a gorgeously detailed fit and flare dress that featured allover lace, intricate beading, and artful scallops throughout. “There was nothing I didn’t like about it… Each part of the dress had something to look at over and over again. It was the perfect dress for me and my personality,” she says. 

“Relax on your big day. Everything will not go perfectly, but that’s okay,” advises this blushing bride. We can’t see how this beautiful ceremony could have been any more of a dream, and we’re grateful to have been a part of it.
